Herbivore went ahead and created their own line of vegan belts, it's pretty darn exciting, don't you think?! The company started with an emphasis on kindness for all creatures (and now, belts!).
The folks at Herbivore imported the Italian-crafted microfiber and then went down the street to a sewing shop in Portland, OR, where the material was cut and sewn. It is a really cool place! They finished the assembly with their staff of four, and behold... This belt!!!
- Made in the USA
- Vegan (obviously!)
- The tag inside is a sticker, for YOU!
Sizes 30" - 40"
**Belt size is determined by pant size. To determine your belt size, take the numerical pant size you are and add two inches. For example, if you wear a 32" waist pant, you will be a 34" belt. If you are a 33" pant, you are a 36" belt. (33 + 2 = 35, round up to a 36")
Belt width is 1.25"
Josh and Michelle started Herbivore in 2002 in the spare bedroom of their apartment in SE PDX. Why? Well, they wanted good looking clothes, ethically made, that would show the world they believed animals deserved respect, love, and to be free from harm. They wanted to spread the word about living cruelty-free. They believe the oppression of one is the oppression of us all. They believe in animal liberation and human liberation are the same cause, so they fight for both.
Their approach has always been to show veganism as a positive choice that gives you back so much more than you give up. Compassion Is Invincible!
